Did you check the alignment?
Hi Golden - alignment? How? I just pressed the SSD until it felt seated on both connections.
Same issue. Hi - here is the alignment result, attached.
Is this SSD finished? Should I go back to crucial with this thread and ask for a replacement?
Alignment looks good. Sadly I don't think there is any other choice but to see if you can get a replacement
OK, so I spoke to Crucial and this is what they said:
Hadir : I totally understand that having BSODs every half hour can be really inconvenient, but trust me it will be more inconvenient exchanging the drive only to have the same issue repeating itself.
Hadir : I understand that you've been using the drive for like a month or 2, and the BSODs can be solved by letting a feature called Active Garbage Collection run, which will clean the SSD and restore it to a healthy state, if you are still having issues afterwards we will certainly exchange it for you under warranty.
Hadir : In a laptop, power on with the SSD installed and enter your system BIOS (please refer to your system manufacturer’s documentation on how to access the BIOS.) Leave the laptop in the BIOS menu for the 6-8 hours.
Following this process, like I said, your drives functionality and performance should be restored.
Is this a valid option?

Here is the detail from a crucial post. Basically, the laptop needs to be in BIOS settings to keep the disk idle:

Active Garbage Collection is a process that helps an SSD maintain optimal performance by freeing up memory sectors that are no longer in use. Garbage collection is part of the SSD itself and thus not dependent on your computer’s operating system. Since garbage collection is part of the SSD’s firmware, it works regardless of which operating and filing systems your computer is using.
Note: Garbage collection only works when your Crucial SSD is idle, so make sure to configure your system so it doesn’t go to sleep when it’s idling. Garbage Collection takes time to do its job, but as long as it gets time to idle every now and then, your Crucial SSD will maintain its high level of performance over time.
...not confirmed to have fixed the problem though!
UPDATE: SSD has sat idle in BIOS for 18 hours now, so restarting laptop and I'll see what the next 24h brings
