Hi There,

Please refer to my attached file.

Several tests have shown that I only get this BSOD 99% of the time either shutting down or restarting the PC from the Windows 7 Ultimate environment.

During installation of new nVidia drivers, I had to use safe mode at different points and at no stage during restarting from safe mode did I experience the BSOD.

There are 2 dump files in the attached .rar

I believe there may be either a driver or software fault causing this BSOD issue but I do not fully understand how to read the files to find the cause of the problem.

Your timely help on this matter would be much appreciated.
Thankyou.

Trent,
Locate and unistall the Gigabyte utility called ONOFF - this utility is a well known source of BSOD at startup and shutdown.
Code:
[COLOR="red"][B]Advanced SystemCare 7[/B][/COLOR]	"d:\program files (x86)\iobit\advanced systemcare 7\asctray.exe" /auto	Trent-PC\Trent	HKU\S-1-5-21-1000446411-3916831634-2046360870-1000\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
I would also recommend uninstalling the above program...its a well know cause of troublesome installations.

Hi Golden,

I have been using Advanced SystemCare for a couple of years now without a hitch. The Gigabyte ON/OFF was installed in early december, but the BSOD's have only really started within the past 10 days.

ADV version 7 though was installed on the 18/1/2014

I've removed the ON/OFF From Gigabyte and will do a restart to see how it goes. If it crashes again i'll post the new details for it.

Thanks

Ok restarted without a glitch after uninstalling the On/Off. Will see how it goes tonight with a shutdown.
I'll keep my eye out for any issues with ADVC as mentioned. Thanks champ :)
