    BSOD At Random Playing Games/Browsing etc

    Hi all,

    I get BSODs at random, however they are all saying Windows Driver framework caused a violation.

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 10d
    BCP1: 0000000000000005
    BCP2: 0000000000000000
    BCP3: 0000000000001018
    BCP4: FFFFFA800F855C50
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 256_1

    I've checked all the drivers that I can remember and check easily for outdated ones, and fixed what I can see, however I'm obviously missing some.

    I've included my logs if someone could take a look and see what is happening.

    I've tried to read the logs myself, however I don't know what program works best for doing, any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Hi orangeman99.

    Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

    • Double click to open it.
    • Click this button only:
    • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

    Logitech Drivers are also contributing to the BSOD.
    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    Search for any possible update in Logitech Support - Downloads, Manuals, FAQs & More .

    Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

    Let us know the results.

    Thanks for the info,

    I've removed D-tools and SPTD, done selective start-up, however there is nothing to update for Logitech, I have the latest drivers.
    Now to just wait and see if any of those have fixed it.

    Ok, take your time to observe the situation. But if it BSODs again, and points to logitech again, that will go bad

    Do you think a driver uninstall/reinstall might help?

    If there is any further BSOD pointing logitech drivers again, we must have to do it, as the first try.
