BSOD while trying to play Planetside 2

I was trying to play Planetside 2 when suddenly my desktop BSOD and this is the first time that this has happened while trying to play this game. I just changed my graphics card to a Sapphire R9 Dual-X 270X Boost with OC. Any help is very much appreciated.

Hey PapaBear, welcome to the forums. I'm also a huge fan of PS2.

Looking at your minidump I can tell you that corruption happened in pages of memory. It's often times caused by drivers.

When you upgraded your graphics card did you completely remove the old drivers? The ATI drivers you have are from Q3 of 2013 so it's not like they're grossly out of date but there are almost certainly newer drivers available. Just look on AMD's website.

Also, I don't see much CPU time used. Was this crash immediately after starting the application?

Thanks for the immediate response. Yes I removed all the drivers from the previous vidcard coz it was an Nvidia one and also the BSOD happened after the latest patch was downloaded. I'll try to update my drivers and see if it will happen again.

Hey everyone! After updating my VC drivers, I was BSOD free for about a month and just a few minutes ago, while watching a tutorial on Youtube, BSOD happened again. Any replies are very much appreciated.

Counterfeit installations such as yours contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable. Once you are running a genuine Windows installation, and are still experiencing BSOD's, we will be happy to help you solve them :)

Hello, So recently I've been getting BSOD while playing Planetside 2. Last week my friend and I PCs both crashed while playing DayZ, however we didn't get a BSOD. The latest BSOD seems to be caused by ntoskrnl.exe+75b80. Thanks

Not sure at all what is causing the BSOD, it's not only Planetside 2, it will just happen randomly as well. Here's the error: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601. Locale ID: 1033 Additional information about the problem:

This has happened a few times when I'm in the middle of PlanetSide 2. I normally have a separate voice chat going, either through steam or skype. Any assistance would be appreciated.
