BSOD at startup

Truthfully, I am not sure. If it is the ram malfunctioning on a cold boot, then sitting in bios will never enable us to find out the problem. But also will not enable us to find out if it is the ram or Dimm Slots of the board. Also, use version 4.20 of memtest86+. I had trouble with memtest V5 also. I run memtest a lot. Look at the list and get the one you want. You can get just the ISO to burn to CD or the preconfigured file that will load it onto a USB drive. They're both the same test, just how you prefer to run it.

Tranquil Hegemo, If you would, please download and install CPUz, (as usual being careful not to install any 'add ons' that may be included with it) The please post screenshots (Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums) of the Memory tab and the SPD tab for each dim slot. The dim slots can be selected from a drop down box in the upper left corner of the SPD tab. The memtest results are quite unusual in that it does not read the ram at all and also have some extremely unusual timings for the ram. CPUz should tell us, but just in case, please tell us the manufacturer and model of the ram you have. memtest is saying it is triple channel ram which is not right for your board. Every stick failed in every test you listed.

I'm sorry, I forgot that, but I found it. If you would, please go into Bios and look at your ram timings and tell me what they are set to. Something is really wrong. Here is a screenshot of what CPUZ shows on the memory tab which is what CPUz reads as the way your memory is running right now, which is correct.

Also, did you run memtest86 or memtest86+? The names are very similar, but memtest86+ is the much better test.

EDIT: You ran the correct test. If you ran that test with the computer cold, could you run it again for me? Wait until the computer is hot before starting the tests and run it about 10 minutes and send a screenshot of that.(Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums). You don't need the whole test. I just want to see how the test reads the ram. So, just a few minutes is OK.

What I am concerned about is CPUZ lists the timings as 9-9-9-24 as they should be. Memtest+ lists your timings as 19-15-15-31 which will certainly cause a BSOD. I am more inclined to believe CPUz. With new technology, sometimes it takes software vendors time to catch up. Memtest86+ v 5.01 has included support for Haswell. Please try to run it again with that version and show a screenshot of how it reads the ram. If you need to know how to boot from the CD or a USB, please ask and we will help you.
