Try running a Startup Repair 3 times.

    Startup Repair
I did that and I was able to boot again, and also to perform an "sfc /scannow". It completed 100% with no errors.
I'm putting this thing on hold for the moment, cause I think some of the problems can't be solved without changing some hardware. I guess the hdd has some problems (still no major ones), but also some other components may be kinda faulty (I ran several tests for RAM and they showed no problems though).
At least now it's booting :)

Thanks everybody for the kind help!
    Best regards,
    Alessandro

No worries. Backup your data as soon as possible, then replace the hard disk

Yeah I did that already :)
Weird thing is that the other day I tried to install windows on another hdd I have, and it got the same freezing problems; that's why I assume this isn't just hdd related.
It could also be the CPU; cause I see that it's around 70°C in idle...I guess I should replace the thermal paste
