    Black Screen after Login

First of all: I couldn't find the right section, but I ultimately decided to post here since I it was the closest I could find. If any mod can point me to the right section (and move this thread) I would be very grateful.)

    So here's the problem:

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and today had to hard restart my computer several times to troubleshoot a problem with my monitor. When I finally managed to fix my monitor I run into problems with my Windows:
At first I couldn't boot into Windows at all, start-up repair failed and the computer locked up during the Windows logo. After enabling USB keyboard support in the BIOS I managed to successfully boot into safe mode and when I restarted the computer I managed to get to the account selection screen in normal mode. But when I try to log in my computer black screens, I can't even see the cursor or open task manager.

I tried a clean boot, but that doesn't solve the problem either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Run the Startup Repair 3 times. Often running it a few times solves the issue.
