Recent BSOD Issues Win32k.sys
Hey All,
I've been trolling around to see if I could find anyone else with my issues, but have failed to find anything similar. This all started after I installed new nVidia drivers. I've analyzed my BSODs and all seem to be linked to that, and for the most part, they all seem to happen when dwm.exe (Desktop Windows Manager) is running (which is obviously all the time). I've yet to disable dwm.exe since I am a man of principle and would prefer everything working as it should.
The BSODs have happened less frequent. I noticed that I can get it semi consistent when I have just started BF4 up, and then open Spotify.
Also, this problem only happens when I am playing BF4 for a long period of time (3+ hours) and then minimize and goof off browsing the web or anything else while the game is running in the background. However, this doesn't happen everytime I minimize, I could do 1 or 2 times, or even 20-30 times and it won't BSOD, always random. It sometimes happens when I am shutting down as well.
I have stressed everything out and ran hardware diagnostics on everything. I have done all stress tests individually and simultaneously as well.
Stressed with the following(All of these individually and Simultaneously);
Prime95
Linx
MemTest86+
Furmark Multi-GPU
Regular Furmark
BF4 open as well
Diagnostics;
MemTest86+
DFT
HDTune
More info;
R331.93 nVidia Betas were the last to work without BSOD
Currently have 334.67 Beta Drivers installed.
Things that I have tried;
- CCLeaner (disabled all unnecessary programs from start up)
- Stopped/Uninstalled Rivatuner and MSI Afterburner
- Uninstalled unnecessary software
- Running Chkdsk
- Running sfc.exe (fixed files, but no improvement with BSODs)
My hardware (in case it doesn't show up in my profile automatically);
Intel i7 950 @ 4.01GHz
EVGA E758-A1 Motherboard
12GB Mushkin @ 1530MHz
1TB WD Caviar Black HDD
eVga GTX690
1000W Corsair PSU
I have attached the minidump files for viewing pleasure.
Let me know if you need any further information. I look forward to hearing from anyone!
**EDIT** - I have attached my SF Debug files as well, thanks.
