BSOD at random times while doing random activities

    Hi,

I use my computer mostly for office work and have never experienced BSOD until about a month ago when I updated my drivers. One of the drivers I updated was the audio driver that immediately began causing problems including BSOD. I rolled back the driver update and reinstalled the driver which seemed to resolve the issue for a while but then after a week the BSOD began again and I have been unable to isolate the cause since then. I have continued to update firefox, antivirus, windows and other security software I have always used and these softwares never seemed to cause any problems before.

There are specific times when the BSOD occurs, mostly it is when I start the computer and during the first few minutes after windows loads or when I resume the computer from hibernate/sleep mode.

I have included the dump files and attached a screenshot.

Any help you can provide would be great.

    Thank you

    Welcome
Usually the reports (as above) give conflicting information. All of your reports are consistent the cause is a driver: teedriver.sys. I am having difficulty in finding the software that uses this driver. So we will go another route. Run the computer in cleanboot mode. Follow instructions to determine the source of the questioned driver. If the computer does not BSOD in clean boot, follow the instruction relating to slowly restoring the deactivated services.
Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

I am giving you a link to the best information that I could find on the driver. DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM THE PAGE. It is for information only.
    http://systemexplorer.net/file-datab.../teedriver-sys

To be sure that the driver is not a virus. Make a full anti virus scan. Download and make a full scan with Malwarebytes. Be sure that you update the software prior to making the scan. If a virus it can be fairly new.

Finally, if all the above does not lead to a solution, I will show you how to remove the driver after making a system restore point.

    Hi Richard,

I apologise for the time it has taken in getting back to you. This process proved more challenging than I expected.

I do believe I have identified the problem though.

There is something called "Intel (R) Management and Security Application Local Management Service" that seems to be causing BSOD for me.

Also, I have been using Comodo internet security and recently it has been giving me trouble. I uninstalled it and tried re installing it but now it does not install. Gets jammed at 64% everytime and some of the elements have been installed already that I do not know how to delete.

I suspect this unfinished installation also has something to do with BSOD. Would you be able to tell me how to completely rid my computer of comodo?

Thank you. I will do the needful re Comodo.

In the mean time, I still have the other issue about "Intel (R) Management and Security Application Local Management Service" that seems to be causing BSOD for me.

    Any ideas about that?

    Hi,

Thank you for your response. I am not sure what it means to "include the files as suggested"

    Please would you elaborate?
