BSOD happens randomly since Graphics Card upgrade

Hi Guys,

I am after your help and would like your advise before i go out and spend more money. I recently changed my graphics card from a Nvidia GTS 250 to a GTX 660. From what i have reviewed the new card draws less power so i assume it shouldnt be a problem a PSU problem i hope.

However i have been getting BSOD randomly, i could be browsing, playing Skyrim, Elders Scroll online or watching a movie when it occurs.

Is there any advice you guys can give.

A quick update to this i did a fresh install last night hoping it would be a bad driver that was causing the problem, it is still happening and now one of the Windows updates will not install either. So any suggestion would be gratefully recieved.

Completely uninstall all NVidia drivers then reboot the computer. Use Windows Update to automatically have it install the latest Microsoft Certified NVidia driver (check in the optional updates area).

You need to test your RAM DIMM's/motherboard RAM slots for errors.

Run a minimum of 8 passes, preferably overnight, or until errors occur using MemTest86+.
