BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE 0x0000009F

I dropped my laptop last week and had problems getting back into Windows. Got that resolved but this morning got a message that USB Driver was not installed and could not connect to internet via wired or wireless connection. Have tried System Restore but got the BSOD instead (sceen shot attached). Unable to use the Seven Forums tools but do have a dump file. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. If I need to try again, please let me know.

I was able to a System Restore and create a SF zip file which I have attached.

Thank you for any insight/help/recommendations,
Surf1000

Hi there,

Is that picture from the BSOD you had today?

The most recent of the 11 dumps you uploaded is from Dec. 17, 2013 and that is blaming your Wifi adapter driver.

Driver Reference Table - Netwsw00.sys

Code:
start end module name
fffff880`0747e000 fffff880`07fce000 Netwsw00 T (no symbols)
    Loaded symbol image file: Netwsw00.sys
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Netwsw00.sys
    Image name: Netwsw00.sys
    Timestamp: Sun Sep 30 11:24:04 2012 (50688E44)
    CheckSum: 00B02BC1
    ImageSize: 00B50000
    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
Which may still be relevant since you couldn't connect to the internet. There is an updated driver below at that link. (Second one down)

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...eng&iid=dc_rss

The oldest one is from March of last year, there are a couple drivers blamed in that one, but may no longer be relevant.

I notice you have Microsoft Security Essentials and Norton installed, I would suggest you pick one and uninstall the other, most any other AV besides MSE has been known to cause BSOD's on occasion.

AV Uninstallers

You can try running the tool again to see if it finds a more recent dump file too.
