Random BSOD slower computer start up time too

Hi, my laptop has random BSOD's and it seems to be getting worse. The start-up time also seems to have suffered in some way. I generally run the system with only the few essential apps running. I haven't changed any hardware components in a long time too nor done any driver updates as far back as I can remember. Any help will be greatly appreciate. I have tons of mini dumps available and just recently enabled full dump collection too so I will be able to share that next time a BSOD occurs.

Please let me know if you need any more information, appreciate your time!

    Thanks,
    SD

    Hi SD1645.

It might be a multi-fold issue, and let us attempt step by step.

The prima facie issue is the network driver to your Intelฎ WiFi Link 5300. So download and install it from Intelฎ PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows.

    Also.... do some hardware tests:

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

    Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

    Let us know the results.

Thanks Archie! I Just updated the driver for the Wifi card. I'll run the remaining hardware tests tonight and let you know. So far only one BSOD right after start up (before updating the driver).

    Thanks,

    Arc/Awesome Support Team,

Apologies for the delayed response, travel has kept me busy.

I was able to run memtest all night without errors, also stress tested the gfx card for 30 mins maxed out at around 85deg C and ran at a super high 1 fps the whole time. The cpu test also ran without errors.

Another observation is that the BSOD's seem to occur only during the initial booting/restarting and don't occur once I'm using the system.

Attached are more recent logs, as always your help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    SD

The Intelฎ WiFi Link 5300 driver is failing.

Download and install Intelฎ PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows.

Thanks Arc. I had updated my driver previously, but that didn't seem to help. This time (past 2 days) I disabled my wifi card altogeter but still faced constant bsod's while starting up. Can you take a look again? Crash dumps attached.

Like I said before, it happens multiple times during startup only, it's so weird. I just fear that the constant crashes during start up will destroy my hard drive or other components.

    Msinfo32:
    • please go to start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press enter> save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
      • also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).
