Software and Hardware .sys Database?
Does anyone know of a database of listing somewhere to quickly and easily identify the thousand (millions even) Hardware and Software Drivers (Windows System Drivers AND Third Party Software Drivers) out there?
I work in IT support, mostly remote support, but we get a lot of BSOD customers and using Windows Debugger to identify causes of BSOD crashes is super thorough... but I guess I'm just HOPING that maybe someone knows of either a database/list somewhere... or a website with an index of some kind...
If anyone knows a way other than just googling the .sys files from WinDbg and sifting through garbage results for each one... please share.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.Does anyone know of a database of listing somewhere to quickly and easily identify the thousand (millions even) Hardware and Software Drivers (Windows System Drivers AND Third Party Software Drivers) out there?
