    BSOD Locale ID 1033

I recently built this new tower that I am using and everything was going great for about a week and a half. I had Windows 8 installed. After that week and a half I started getting intermittent BSoD's with either the Locale ID 1033 or a Page Fault on Non Page File error.

I like to troubleshoot things my self most of the time so I reformatted and it continued happening. I then downgraded to a Windows 7 and it continued to BSoD.

I'm at a loss, I have ran a chkdsk for bad sectors on my hard drive and the basic windows memory scan didn't return any errors.

What should be my next step?

    Hi Gavner. Welcome aboard.

I checked the BSOD dumps of today and yesterday; 8 crash dump files. Most of them are stop 0x50, and they are pretty silent about the probable cause. Though, as per Carrona.org, STOP 0x00000050: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    Usual causes:
Defective hardware (particularly memory - but not just RAM), Faulty system service, Antivirus, Device driver, NTFS corruption, BIOS

A few of the dumps are stop 0xD1, and they are indicating to a storage controller failure. The blamed driver is
    Code:
    Name AMD SATA Controller
    Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\amd_sata.sys
It is the AMD AHCI driver. Try to update AMD Chipset drivers, which includes this one in the package. Get it from http://support.amd.com/en-us/downloa...set?os=Windows.

    Attachment 309387

Let us know the results. Will decide about our next steps after seeing the results.

Just replying to let you know I am attempting to install the drivers at the moment. It is saying that the SATA driver is already installed. I am attempting to uninstall the old ones before continuing.

Update: Installed the driver pack you pointed me to, shortly after I got another blue screen that pointed me at RT64WIN7.sys file.

If you want to report a BSOD, you have to post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.Attach the data in your reply.

Otherwise we cannot provide proper help, without seeing the data.
