How to install the latest version of DirectX
The hotfix said something like it wasn't applicable to my machine and it seems I have the latest DirectX which is 11 for Windows 7.

Is there any hope/suggestions left for me? Maybe I'll try a fresh install of Windows 7 soon...But I have a feeling that won't work either.

    Thanks.

Hi LewiiG. Just like earlier, the crash dumps are all different, and indicating to hardware error.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

    Let us know the results.

I'll probably try looking inside the laptop at a later date if neccessary. I've done sfc twice now with no results but will do again if needed.

    Thanks.

Ahh, Hi Arc and thanks again. Yeah it must be hardware now, same BSODs with clean install of Windows 7. I tested with Memtest86+ in the previous thread and got 8 passes with no errors. Would it mean anything to do it again? I will if needed. I tried to run Furmark with the sugested settings but it wouldn't let me and said:

"FurMark requires an OpenGL 2.0 compliant graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 6 (and higher), AMD/ATI Radeon 9600 (and higher), Intel HD Graphics 2000/3000 or a S3 Graphics Chrome 400 series with the latest graphics drivers."

I suppose that means I can't do it. I'd like to be able to though, graphics seem to be the issue. Everything is fine in normal mode when I disable both display adapters (what is it using if they are both disabled?). If I try to update them or just use them the laptop will barely boot. It works in this graphically limited state but not with the latest graphics drivers, despite the fact it used to. Annoying. Would there be a hardware fix or are things like this beyond repair?

Yes, you cannot run Furmark. The graphics chip is:
    Code:
Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Do memtest once again. and stress test the CPU too.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

We have to test the possible hardware to minimize the possibilities.

Okay. Sorry for the delayed reply but there is a reason. My laptop no longer displays anything when I turn it on (it's just getting worse xD). It powers, the fan etc is heard, but nothing. No sound of Windows either. Just a black screen. I believe this might be some sort of seperate battery problem upon research, so I'll get a new one and see what happens. I did manage to run Prime95 though, for 6 hours no errors or warnings. I'll retry Memtest if I can start the laptop again. Any take on this before I get a new battery?

    Thanks again.

OK, let us know the situation after changing the battery.

    Best of luck. :)

Yeah thanks. But it didn't work :/ I think it's over now. Internet seems to point to a hardware problem now, motherboard or graphics card or something and won't do anything because of it. I wonder, if it was the same thing causing the BSOD but it just completely failed now instead of partially. The problem is outside of the BSOD range and can probably be solved only by me buying new parts and repairing the laptop. I don't know the exact piece of hardware though, and it's probably not worth the money right now. It's time for a new system really.

I still thank everyone here and in the other thread for the help. I now know this is the place to go for Seven support

Is there anything you'd like to add? (should I mark "solved" after?)

    Thanks.
