    Install any new hardware/software recently?

Were any driver updates installed recently?

Ok mate those are fine and I was just thinking maybe you might have a lemon hard drive and it would do any harm running a test on it this will test most drives even though it is not the brand you have and at least it will eliminate that possibility. SeaTools for Windows | Seagate
There is another test you can do on it with this Best Free Partition Manager Freeware and free partition magic for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista and Windows XP 32 bit & 64 bit. MiniTool Free Partition Manager Software Home Edition. it does an actual physical surface test and I know it is a very slim possibility of it being the problem again it will eliminate it. (see pic)

Oh and run the chkdsk too and maybe Option 2 may be required.

i have run multiple hardware tests today and yesterday. Everything came back as passed. I have noticed that it doesn't BSOD unless i try to play Counter Strike: GO. About 2 minutes from loading the game, it will BSOD. I get check code 0x00000124, file name hal.dll and ntoskrnl.exe Addresses: hal.dll+12a3b ; ntoskrnl.exe+18c463 Not sure if that helps. I had tried to "tune" the computer with Asus' AISuite3. Then started to have problems so I went into the BIOS and set everything back to default. Still not sure what else to do.
