    This are new computer (dell optiplex 960, 760) running XP. I have already Google this problem and I do not think it is a memory problem. I have also look up the video card driver and could not find my driver date (it was the most up to date) kind of thought that was weird. Here are the dump files.Thank you for you help

    Probably caused by iaStor.sys.

    iaStor.sys is a driver for controlling SATA disks. Try to update any Raid controller drivers, SATA controller drivers.

    If you're running Intel Application Accelerator, look into an update for that.

    No, don't install Intel Application Accelerator if it never has been before.

    What you can do is go in device manager, right click the raid controller and choose properties. Then go to details tab and change the property dropdown box to hardware ids. Copy and paste what is there. I'll get the latest driver I could find for you.

    Cool. I'm fairly certain that Usasma has already given you the best solution to update the driver. Give that a shot and see how it goes.

    Look up Optiplex 960 at this link: Dell - Drivers and Downloads
    Navigate to the drivers section and look under SATA - this lists the Intel Matrix Manager
    Search Intel.com for this download

    From PCI Vendor and Device Lists

    ven_8086 = Intel
    dev_2822 = Chip Number: 82801HR/HH/HO&82801IR/IH/IO(AIE=0)/ICH10R Chip Description: Raid Controller Notes: Iastor8.0

    When to the site, download drivers. Since the problem was the computers randomly shut down how do I check to see if the new drives fix the problem. Beside wait for the computer to randomly shut down by it self. Thank you guys for all your help

    I'd probably stress test the attached disk(s) by copying a large amount of data from another drive to it, if possible. Perhaps run an HDTune benchmark or two. Basically, do whatever will make the HDD work as hard as possible for as long as you have the time for.

    You're very welcome.
