BSoD while watching a video using Windows Media Player, error 0x116

    Hey guys,

I was watching a video using Windows Media Player. About 7-10 minutes into the video, I would notice the graphics from the video suddenly disappear. It'd be a black screen, and then I start hearing some sound lag/distortion, and then the BSoD Error would occur. I would get the BSoD errors that I mentioned above. It happened to me about three or four times. I am running a HD Radeon 6450. I am not sure if any more details are needed. If they are, please let me know.

I have attached my crash dumps below.

    Thanks for your time.

When a display driver stops responding to Windows, the kernel dispatches a Timeout Detection and Recovery routine. If the driver doesn't respond to this routine then Windows has no alternative but to bugcheck the machine. This event occurred in the ATI display driver, which is pretty old and should be updated.
