I'm trying to do that Command Prompt license verify that was requested before but I enter it in word for word and it's telling me "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."

Finally got it working, I wasn't even putting spaces in it. Thanks for clarifying
Thanks, just jumped back in after seeing the Disk Management.
I tracked back and read your UEFI post - not sure exactly what you did though - I couldn't figure out what it was, just that it had UEFI in the name, and the disk drive didnt have UEFI.
Whatever you did enabled you to boot though.
I expected a Disk Management screen similar to this for a UEFI install:
But... I am by no means a UEFI guru and I do not know Win 8 at all.
It might be nothing at all or it might come back to bite you later... I don't know.
Members Gregrocker and Brink know all about these things.
I'm out (for real this time :).
@Slarty I got a window exactly like that during setup. It had a 100MB partition, my SSD and my HD on it as well.
Just got this bad boy while playing Dark Souls 2.
I ran the previous program as Admin just like I was told, how should I enable Verifier? Same way as told in previous post or run it normally?
Enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.
Driver Verifier -Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.
Information
Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.
How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.
Warning
Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.
If there is no points, make a System Restore Point Manually before enabling DV.
Tip
- If you fail to get on the Desktop because of DV, Boot into Advanced Boot Options > Safe mode. Disable DV there. Now boot normally again, and try following the instruction of enabling DV again.
- If you cannot boot in Safe mode too, do a System Restore to a point you made earlier.
Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.
There's a difference between the verifier for Win7 and Win8. After selecting "Create Custom Settings (for code developers)" it brings me to a new page asking me to enable individual settings from a list. Not sure what to enable here.
You want Standard Settings, Force pending I/O Requests and IRP logging.
