BSOD at random, error 0x000000fe (dmp files attached)

Hi there, I've been having trouble with my wife's PC for some time now. There were several BSOD's happening at random, each with different error codes. I searched the forums and I think I've eliminated a few of them, however there is one (0x000000fe) that still won't go away. The BSOD comes randomly although I think the PC is more prone to crash when streaming online video. I enabled Windows to save dump files about 10 days ago, and since then there have been 3 crashes.

Attached are the dump files from the last 3 crashes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you provide some more info?

Upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

1. Click on the start button
2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

Upload the list of all the third party drivers Using NirSoft DriverView :

• Download and execute Driverview
• View > Hide Microsoft Drivers
• Edit > Select all
• File > Save Selected Items
• In the Save dialog, Set the path to desktop, Put "Driverview" in the name field, and save.
• Zip the .txt file and upload it.

Those will be helpful to look at what is doing on with the USB devices/drivers.

Harribo - I can see those 2 drivers in my system, but I don't know how to update them.

ARC - I've followed your instructions and attached both files.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

• Double click to open it.
• Click this button only:
• 
• If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Disable Broadcom Bluetooth USB AMP Filter for Windows Vista, C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\btwampfl.sys.

Better disable Bluethooth in General.

Download and install Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows 7, which is for your Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1000.

And, Disable USB Selective Suspend too.

There is no modified version of Daemon Tools, and all the disc image emaluator are equally problematic. For handling the disc images, I would suggest you to use 7-zip, which can extract all the disc image formats and does the basic job by this way.

As you dont want to disable Bluetooth, keep it active and observe how the situation goes.
