Ok, I was able to get start up again after Windows said it could not repair whatever it thinks was broken. Now I am getting weird artifacts in my browser for some reason. Disabling verifier and restarting now.

The bugchecks are still 0x124 which indicate a fatal hardware error. Can you run the CPU test again. Prime95 by following the instructions previously posted. If you have an Intel CPU run Intel Burnin test by following these instructions.

I tried running IntelBurn, but some of my cores hit temps above 90°C so I freaked out and stopped the test. Seems crazy high considering my idle temps are not above 40°C. Maybe I need a better CPU fan?

Those temps are dangerously high, on Prime95 under a stress test my max temperature is 78C.
A better fan would be recommended yes. Is overheating the cause? We do not know.

Okay, I went ahead and ordered this heatsink/fan. Hopefully I'll be able to run the stress test by the weekend without the danger of frying my PC.

Okay, installed new heatsink and fans and ran IntelBurnTest. Got a "Success!" message and the test completed in 75.78 seconds. Any other ideas?

Are you still getting crashes though?

Haven't gotten one in a couple of days, actually. I'll report if/when it happens again.

If you get no crashes within a couple of days and you feel very confident that your issue have been solved then please mark the thread as solved.
