    Random BSOD

    I am experiencing apparantly random BSODs (about once a week or so). It has been going on for a long time, but the frequency has increased. A few weeks back it occurred during shutdown as well, but that seems to have passed.

    Can anyone help?

    Thx...

    Hi TankHawk.

    The older BSODs are caused by Etron USB 3.0 Extensible Hub Driver.
    c:\windows\system32\drivers\etronhub3.sys
    Code:
    BugCheck 9F, {3, fffffa8009f198c0, fffff80000b9c3d8, fffffa800bd5d010}

    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for EtronHub3.sys

    And the driver is old.
    Code:
    fffff880`04a35000 fffff880`04a3ec00   EtronHub3 T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: EtronHub3.sys

    Search for possible updates in Etron Technology, Inc..

    But the latest BSOD is storage related issue.
    Code:
    BugCheck F4, {3, fffffa800aa3ab30, fffffa800aa3ae10, fffff8000358a7b0}

    Thanks.

    I have updated the Etron driver and the OCZ firmware. Since the problem is only occuring about once a week, I cannot immediately see if the problem is solved or not.

    I'll let you know in a couple of weeks.
    :)
