BSOD while standby and/or using Chrome

Oh right sorry, well I have used CCleaner in the past.
I never notice anything which can be good or bad but you can try it. Make sure you save the registry entries before you wipe them. CCleaner should ask you.

sfc/ scannow might find something but I honestly find it doubtful it will solve anything.

There isn't really a microsoft specialist of BSODs. You get Microsoft Contributor Awards and Most Valuable Professional awards.
I don't know anyone who is on the BSOD team with an MVP award.

The problem is that this forum is always short on staff in the BSOD and support option. There's only a handful that do a lot of work on it so that's why I try and help out.

No avast is always installed right now, I will remove it in minutes... just after sfc... and ccleaner...

And is there is a way to remove and clean Nvidia Driver, because I noticed that it has install audio drivers... And I'm using the Realtek onboard device...

I will also consider to do a BIOS upgrade, the version I have is the same I have from the beginning... Maybe with the BIOS version I have some difficulties with some news software updates?

Yes you can remove the Nvidia drivers and do a full re install.
In fact there's a great tutorial for you to follow.

NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems

The audio driver from Nvidia and your onboard Realtek audio will not conflict, the Nvidia ones are used from your graphics card whilst the Realtek ones are used from your motherboard.

I like to remove them anyway.

It's sometimes a good idea to update the bios. You just need a flash drive and the new bios loaded on it. You then load up the BIOS and there should be an option saying something like 'Flash BIOS'. You then click that.

But take one thing at a time.

Here I got a another BSOD, but this time it was 0x000000D1,
I was running MSE and I noticed something...

It seems that the BSOD appear around between 2 and 3 hours of use.

When running Prime95 it was just about 2h 17 mins: BSOD
MSE: 2h 20 mins
Scan with Avast: same thing...
Playing game: Never pay attention but it was certainly in that range...

So the only new thing I've done from my last post was the sfc scannow: and it found some errors and they were repaired... (I've sent you the report).

So now my question is: could there a link between a 0x000000D1 and 0x000000E1?

I've just had another (0X000000C4) as I was using Asus utilty for gathering information... sent the dump file.

I can't say I'm 100 familiar with this driver but it appears some sort of ASUS hardware monitoring software is causing issues.

If you don't use it I suggest removing it (Highly recommended), if it is a necessity to you then please update it at the following link.

It is outdated and an update may fix the issue but I think it's conflicting with something so I recommend removing it completely.

Hi,

I've done some manipulations about Asus software that forced me to go back with a system backup from march 23,... But I saved the dump files before...!

So from there, I've updated all drivers:
-Intel rapid storage,
-Removed all Nvidia Drivers properly following your procedure and done a clean install with only display and physX drivers.
-Motherboard drivers,

As always, Avast, Alcohol, Acronis are cleanly remove with clean installer provided on these forums...
Scan with Malware: OK
All devices in device manager are correctly installed.
Scanned with CCleaner and I corrected all errors (keeping a copy as you mentionned it).
No Asus monitoring, tools, or software were installed.

I will now test the system this evening.

As for your information, the Intel Rapid Storage application was never enabled, can it cause the BSOD even though?

And what do you think about Kaspersky anti-virus?

I'd not heard many cases about Kaspersky, it's one of the best if not the best paid AVs.

I saw in the log that this error occured since 2013 august 18. And there are mainly bugcheck code 80... and very few 30 and 209...

Here is some news,

After the bios update, windows was randomly crashing at the splash98 screen, 0x0000000a, so I tried to do a fully new windows installation, which went well.

I installed all drivers from original cds, execpted the graphic card which I let the generic windows driver just to have the best basic system.

The pc was idle for about 10h without crashing, so I think that hardware was not causing the bsod right?

So next step I will update windows, all drivers. And as for drivers update, should I remove the old ones (like realtek audio) before update or it is safe to let them installed and just do the update...?
