Windows 7: BSOD while standby and/or using Chrome

Realtek drivers are fine form my experience, they should cause no problems.

Before I've had Nvidia Audio Drivers, Realtek audio drivers and a headset with a driver installed at the same time.
You should be fine, just be careful what you install.

So I again,

After reinstalling Windows 7 with most basics settings, I made a backup using Norton Ghost 15 BOOT CD. (I did'nt installed it on the OS). It was successful...

After that, I done all windows updates and drivers updates, installed VLC, Chrome, Malwarebytes and after that I wanted to do another backup with Ghost 15 and I got error E7C3000F about an hard drive with bad sectors...

I ran HD tune Pro to discover that my SSD have two bads blocks... So after some researches I discovered that it should appear in device manager, as a AHCI device... mine it shoes up as a SCSI device... But I can't figure out why (after removed Intel Rapid Storage, which is not recommanded for AHCI) I can't find out basic AHCI drivers...

Except theses bad blocks, everything seems to run fine...

Well I can't say I know much about SSDs because I've never had one.

I wouldn't use any products to do with Norton because they're prone to causing issues.

If you aren't getting any crashes or bugchecks then I recommend creating a separate thread here.

Have you made sure you have the latest firmware update for your SSD?

Can you also try running SeaTools to see if your drive is failing.

Ok i will try seatools...

But do you suggest me a good soft for:

Doing full os backup,
A good replacement of alcohol, execpt virtual drive....

Or better than that, is there is a thread about your softwares that are recommanded?

Hi, it's been a while...

just to tell you that from the clean re-installation of W7, I did'nt have BSOD...

BUT, I suspect my SSD, I found that I can't upgrade the firmware, it the BIOS it is seen as a 125GB instead of 120GB (from Corsair forum, it is bad), found bad sectors with HD Tuno Pro, not able to do full OS backup using Ghost 15, tried Acronis, tried Macruim (which will surely be my best soft) and they all give me CRC errors, I/O errors...

I can do it only with Ghost 15 after enabling ignor bad sector option... Which is not the good solution...

So I think that it could be possible that there was some software (like Steam, uplay, or anything else) that maybe trying to do an update or a kind of a check just about 2h of use and there was some data in those bad sectors that could create a BSOD... Or anykind of SSD maintenance routine that was interfering with those bad sectors...

So, now I've checked out with Corsair and they suggest me an RMA... So stay tuned as I will try to test it a lot...
