    BSOD after start up

Recently I have gotten a new graphics card, RAM and did a reformat (due to windows being faulty) on my PC and since then I get constant bluescreens after starting up. My PC will turn on and start everything and then bluescreen. It'll then restart and work fine for the rest of the day.
I would just like to know what is causing it because it's pretty annoying and I don't want to cause more problems for my PC later.

I have been considering doing another format on my PC, but if that doesn't help then I've just lost a lot of my files for no reason and still haven't solved anything.

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 2057

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: d1
    BCP1: FFFFFA80214BBA18
    BCP2: 0000000000000002
    BCP3: 0000000000000000
    BCP4: FFFFF88001682F64
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

If there is anything else you need me to add just tell me.

    Uninstall AVG. http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities

Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one, as the installed antivirus is failing.

    Let us know the results.

I'm also wondering if it was relevant that even after uninstalling AVG and installing windows se I have still BSOD.

From the scan results, you can see that AVG did not do the job that it was supposed to do. It is not the only story that it made your computer crash.

I would suggest you some deeper scans.

Also, if you report a BSOD, post the necessary data following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions so that we can check for the reasons and assist you.

Don't use AVG and replace it with; Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows. I looked up the code it threw and another user said it seemed to be AVG causing the problem. Hope this helps.

Uninstall McAfee security scan plus. And never let it to be installed.

    Attachment 313782

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

    Update the drivers:

Install drivers following Driver Install - Device Manager

    Let us know the results.
