Power State Failure - No longer goes to BSOD

    Hello,
My computer is a custom build of a few years ago and I have been having this problem since I received it from NCIX.ca. Completely randomly the computer will 'freeze up' without turning off. It used to have a BSOD with 'power state failure' appearing and a code but the BSOD no longer appears. any ideas/suggestions? I know finding the BSOD error code would be helpful but I'm unsure how exactly to do that.
    Thanks!

follow Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD to enable small memory dumps.

sorry I've been out of town a week. Ok so I did as suggested with the small memory dumps. Now what? Or is that the potential fix?

When you next get a blue screen just run the DM Log Collector and upload the zip.

There are no new dump files, in fact the latest one was on the 7th of March...
    Can you check in C:/Windows/minidump?
If there are none then we'll have to wait until you get another BSOD and hope it created a dump file.

hmm. could the issue be that it no longer goes to the BSOD? it used to but now it just freezes up. I'll take a look at the minidump thing tho
