    BSOD while watching youtube video

Was watching a fairly short youtube video, fullscreen 720p, clicked on the timeline on the bottom to rewind a bit, aaaaand bam.

Never had a problem with BSOD's since January 2012 when I built it, but I've gotten maybe 3 or so since I upgraded my CPU and graphics card in January 2014.

Let me know if you need any more information, thanks!

From the dump file, we can see that the BSOD was caused by ATI driver but I would suggest we wait and you complete the steps given before and see if that helps.

    Keep us posted.

    Thanks for the reply!

Regarding the drivers: I removed WinPcap, but I wasn't sure how to handle the rest. Driver Booster doesn't detect any driver updates, I can't find the middle two drivers to update, and I would like to keep the XfastUSB package.

I did the rest of the steps though, including the display driver wipe/reinstall, and I have nothing to report with regards to system errors, viruses, etc. It'll probably take a while to see if that did the trick or not, as the BSODs have been fairly scarce, but we'll see what happens!

Well that certainly didn't take long :P Just opened a youtube video and it happened again!

I had a video game running in the background, but it was only in the main menu and I normally don't have temp problems with it, so while I couldn't see my temps at the time I doubt that was the issue..

Uninstall your installed latest version of the display driver.
Then clean up any possible leftover.
Then install version 13.9 WHQL only.
Lately we have seen a lot of issues with the latest 13.12 WHQL AMD Catalyst.
