    Welcome to the forum hoyin,

    Reduce items at start-up:

    Perform a clean boot:

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

    sptd.sys Mon Oct 12 02:55:14 2009 (4AD24632)
SCSI Pass Through Direct Host - Daemon Tools (known BSOD issues with Win7)
    Driver Reference Table - sptd.sys

Daemon Tools/Alchohol is known to cause Blue Screens. Please remove it:

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable!:-

    nusb3hub.sys Fri Nov 19 07:34:24 2010 (4CE5D420)
NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver (previous BSOD issues with 2010 and earlier versions)
    Driver Reference Table - nusb3hub.sys

    nusb3xhc.sys Fri Nov 19 07:34:25 2010 (4CE5D421)
NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver (previous BSOD issues with 2010 and earlier versions)
    Driver Reference Table - nusb3xhc.sys

To perform a clean install of a driver, follow this tutorial:

Remove AVG for testing purpose. Recommended antivirus program for Windows 7 based on stability compared to others:-

Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Install all windows updates including Service Pack One:

    Post back results.

I used the driver scanner program and it seems a lot of the outdated drivers were from my motherboard. I tried updating my motherboard drivers and it is the GA Z68X-UD5-B3. Once I downloaded some of the updates and tried opening the file, it only extracts to my desktop and nothing appears. I checked my desktop and no file was found. Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks again
