Turn on PC - "Windows failed to start" - Launch startup repair - BSOD!
Hi, first post.
I can't follow the guidelines and put any information from the BSOD, because I can't boot my computer. However, I've taken a picture of the blue screen, if that's of any help.

This is the process up till the BSOD:
1. Turn on computer
2. "Windows failed to start"
3. I can then a) "Start windows normally" or b) "Launch startup repair (recommended)"
4. a) just reboots the PC into the same state
5. b) results in a BSOD seconds after. It's stays until I turn off computer,
6. The BSOD again: https://i.imgur.com/faUQAZs.jpg
Things I've tried:
1. Booting into safe mode (and any of the other fancy options after pressing F8). This is NOT possible. I press an option, and I see a BSOD for 0,1 second, and the PC reboots.
2. Booting from recovery disk. I enter BIOS and change booting order = it detects the disc, starts to "load windows files" = but goes into BSOD seconds after.
What is definitely causing this:
My Samsung 840 SSD. I've tried replacing it with my old WD 640gb hard disk, and the computer boots just fine.
HOWEVER, it has worked fine since I installed it in September 2013. I WANT TO STRESS: It has worked fine, with out ANY issues since September 2013 up until now.
Nothing strange has happened lately; no new software, no new hardware.. nothing. It was a little overheating a few days ago, because it didn't turn off correctly and I put it in my PC shoulder bag. I put it in Thursday 14:00 (2:00pm) - realized 15:30 (3:30pm) when I took it up again. No problems at all - I recorded an interview with it at 16:00, took it home, played some music, hibernated it, went to sleep. Used it all Friday, no problems. Went to work Saturday, came home at 6:00pm, turned it on, BSOD!
Other things:
1. The SSD is pretty full. Last time I checked, about 93% full.
2. I have bought a new battery at ebay.co.uk a little before I replaced the HDD with the SSD. But has caused no problems so far.
3. I've NOT replaced any other parts inside the computer. I HAVE kept it clean with compressed air, etc. etc.
I hope you can help me. IMPORTANT: Is my data 100% lost? - I've backed up school stuff, but I have some programs, settings and music I would like to keep.
Thanks in advance
