Drivers are installed on your computer to make a item work properly. whether it is an external drive or not. Go to the website i suggested and downloaded the latest files.
I have been to the WD Support site and looked at each individual model of my external hard drives and not one of them allows you to download an updated driver. There is a few other items that relate to managing the hard drives, such as programs and firmware updaters. But nothing that will allow me to update the actual 'driver' in device manager.
