BSOD after awhile of gameplay + streaming. Please help.

Hi there,

My pc has always been giving me BSOD with physical dumps since I've upgraded last year in July. I am not quite sure what the problem is and was wondering if someone can help me. Please see below my for my event log of my most recent BSOD crash. I have also uploaded/attached my debug-YourComputerName-xxxx.zip to this post too. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

There are no .dmp files present in your attachment to analyse the BSOD.

Are there any .dmp files present in C:\Windows\Minidump?

No my pc hasn't got a BSOD crash yet so I guess I have to wait.. I set it so that it'll create a small dump when it does get BSOD though. So I guess I have to wait for that to happen? Thanks for your prompt reply.

You can try and speed up the BSOD by running Driver Verifier.

Please do the following:

Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Driver Verifier will cause your computer to run very sluggishly - this is normal. What it is trying to do is force your system to BSOD and isolate the offending driver/s. When it does, reboot, disable driver verifier, reboot as normal and upload the new dmp file/s here.

I recommend creating a system restore point before turning on driver verifier:
System Restore Point - Create

If your system fails to boot to desktop once driver verifier is enabled, turn it off by booting into Safe Mode:

Also like to add that after turning on verifier and then restarting my pc, it will BSOD when trying to load windows 7. So I'm not sure if I am doing it correctly, but it created the minidump from there.

Please uninstall Daemon Tools as it's a well known cause for BSODs.

Hi there,

I am still getting BSOD but somehow my system isn't creating minidumps anymore. Any idea on how I can get my system to create minidumps? I didn't change anything, I just ran verifier and restarted my pc. I would get BSOD when trying to boot up into Windows 7 but no minidumps were created. Thanks in advanced.

It happens sometimes but we aren't 100% sure why.
Does you system automatically restart when it BSODs?
If so that might need to change.

Have you restored at all when it BSODs on start up as I think that wipes minidumps.

If it does BSOD on start up it's best to boot into safe mode.

Yes it was set to automatically restart when it BSODs however I turned it off but still my system doesn't create any minidump files at all. I haven't restored at all when it BSODs or anything.

My pc just froze for no apparent reason this morning (I left it over night to see if it would be stable), mouse not working and keyboard not responding.

So I tried to create a minidump by using verifier instructed to me by Golden earlier to see if I can get BSOD so it could give me a new minidump. However when BSOD happens it didn't create any dump files at all, I've tried setting it to automatically restart and turn it off too. Both didn't work.

So I downloaded a program called Bluescreenviewer to see my old minidump file and it lists ntoskrnl.exe+5024ec + dtsoftbus01.sys as the culprits. I already uninstalled daemon tools so dtsoftbus01.sys shouldn't be a problem, however ntoskrnl.exe I don't know, any ideas?

Again I have no idea why my system isn't creating minidumps upon BSODing. I have tried turning it off and turning it on with reboots. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
