Acronis True Image.

Either update it to the latest version or uninstall it.

Also free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

1. Click on the Start button
2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
3. Select the “Startup” tab.
4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
5. Apply > OK
6. Accept then restart.

Let us know the result. It is important. Things depend on the situation, highly.

Edit: Well, better you uninstall Acronis. As I said earlier, things depend on it.

Jinian, we need to see the situation after uninstalling Acronis.

Initially I also thought that updating will be good; but seeing the degree of corruption I cannot see any other good way other than totally uninstalling it.

Try to understand it, mate. The uninstallation is a MUST. Because, if any sort of these F4 or 7A bugchecks occur even after uninstalling Acronis, you have to replace your discs, irrespective of the test results.

Disabling or otherwise will not serve our purpose at all.

Yes, initially I thought that update will be OK. But later it appeared that the situation is critical; and Acronis is to go to take further decisions.

Because, it is very important to see the storage behavior without Acronis installed.

Backup and restore programs can cause disk instability. But .... the degree of corruption is very high.

If the computer runs smooth for at least one week, then you may install an updated version of Acronis. :)

Otherwise it is a different story, which will not be very fortunate.

I would suggest you to install windows in a partition of the Seagate SSD and see if it causes that BSOD or not. We cannot test the SSD in hand, so we need to take this way.
