Computer restarts after new graphics card and mobo BCCode 124

ever since i got my new mobo and graphics card my computer keeps restarting randomly it only does it with my r9 290 and not my 6950 and i didn't have this problem before ive tried a fresh reinstall of w7. i know its not my PSU because its an 850w xfx. i need help desperately so i can finally enjoy my r9 290.
i have the link to my bsod here even though it doesnt show a bsod when it restarts it just freezes then restarts.

Is it possible to use my mobo HDMI while using the graphics card?
