do any of the bug check codes lead to an underlying problem that could lead to a conclusion other than the card is faulty, again?
Bugcheck codes does not say that much. It indicates to a display failure.

Furmark says that the GPU is faulty.

sent a ticket for another RMA to EVGA
could anyone try to see if there's an underlying problem besides the GPU being faulty?

I put the card in my old computer, played CSGO and ran furmark for 45 minutes, no issues at all. I don't know what's wrong with my GPU, the last 2 BSODs I had happened as soon as I booted. The majority of the BSODs were caused from dxgkrnl.sys +5d140.

If the GPU works good on any other computer, then you try to apply some other version of the display driver.

If the situation is the same with any other version of the display driver, apply any other GPU.

If the situation is still the same, then we will consider that the PCIe slot is failing.

worked fine for about a week straight, now i'm getting driver failure messages numerous times a day and got a complete restart once with bug check code 0x10000007e
I put the same GPU in my old computer and ran furmark for a couple of hours with no failure before this incident and couldn't get the card to BSOD.

Click on the button below ....

It will download the DM log collector. Right click on the application and run as administrator. It will generate a .zip file on your desktop. Upload the .zip.

    Another GTX 760 .......

And unfortunately I dont know any driver version that works good with GTX 700 series. You may try the drivers on a trial and error basis:

    • 320.49 WHQL
    • 327.23 WHQL
    • 331.58 WHWL
    • 331.65 WHQL
    • 331.82 WHQL
    • 332.21 WHQL
    • Any driver version released later

Get them from Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

Do a clean install on all of them. Uninstall the previously installed driver first.
Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features

      • 3D Vision Control Driver
      • 3D Vision Driver
      • Graphics Driver
      • HD Audio Driver
      • PhysX
      • nvidia Update
      • GeForce Experience

(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
    • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
    • Download the target WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

Lengthy process, but the only stable version of nvidia is 314.22 lately, which does not support 700 series GPU.
