I have run the windows built in ram checker and no errors were present; I tried running 2 different stress tests but both gave me bsods within like 30 seconds; I'm almsot done checking the hard drive. I can't upload the other dump files until check disk finishes running as it's not in windows right now. I can't do memtest as I have no discs to burn it to and I do not have a thumb drive either.
Which stress tests gave you errors?
CPU stress tests?
Your CPU needs replacing, it's faulty.
I don't know much about hardware to be honest so I can't give you much advice on which to get and whether it's compatible.
I can ask somebody though.
Because you are getting 0x124 errors and whenever you try and run a CPU stress test is bugchecks pretty much straight away.
0x124 bugchecks indicate a hardware error has occurred, in this case you CPU is failing.
Well if thats the case im going after intel for it because I dont have the money to replace a cpu and for it to crap out on me after only 2 years is a bunch of bull**t. And here i thought i could trust Intel. So much for that thinking. But either way i may have to deal with it for a bit as i just dont have the finances to buy anything new and IMO they should be warrantying it.
This might be of some use:
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) processor family
The manufacturer or supplier of your computer system generally provides a warranty. Check the warranty documentation that came with your system, or contact your computer manufacturer or place of purchase for warranty coverage information.
Intel® Boxed Processor family
Intel provides a three-year limited warranty on Intel® Boxed Processors, if purchased separately or as part of a computer system.
Well; sadly; Intel's pathetic excuse for existence warranty department gave me nothing but the f****** run around and is trying to charge me 200 bucks for something that is suppose to be under warranty still in order to get a replacement sent to me. 200 bucks that i just do not have to throw around!. That is just complete and utter CRAP!. They say its for security. I say its bull. I am so dam tired of these greedy, corporate, scumbag companies nowadays that dont give a crap about treating their customers the right way. I mean i just had to contact intels ceo office and explain to them the situation.
