BSOD Driver Power State Failure after standby
Hello everyone,
I have recently been getting BSODs after returning from standby.
This problem started after I installed a new CPU cooler, for which I had to disassemble the whole computer. After reassembling, the cooler works find, but the BSODs started.
I have tried to analyze the dumps and I find that it is caused by one specific Hard Drive.
At the same time I realized that after returning from standby, the screen loads from top to bottom in 3 to 4 stripes for a short time. It is kind of difficult to describe but it seems like the graphics card is extra slow while initially loading the screen. In general I suspect that there is a power problem after returning from standby, and the HDD is just the thing that fails first.
In any case I set "turn off Hard drive after" to "never" in the power options.
I could not extract any further details from the dumps, but at the same time I am not really knowledgeable about this. So I would be very thankful for any ideas and possible solutions.
My next steps would be try to use different SATA ports or disable my BluRay and DVD drives, reset bios options and eventually get a new Power Supply, etc.
I have attached the Zip file generated by the DM Log Collector.
Thanks
