Random, Frequent BSODs

Hi guys,

Let me just start out by saying that my understanding of the technical side of computers is really, really limited, so go easy on me!

Basically, I'm posting because over the past week or so I've been getting BSODs fairly regularly. My Acer laptop is about 1.5 years old, and to be honest it was never that great because not that long after getting it I used to get occasional, yet persistent, BSODs. I used to ignore it because they didn't occur often enough to be more than a minor annoyance. About a month ago I thought I got a virus on my laptop. In hindsight, I'm not so sure there actually was a virus, but nevertheless I got my entire laptop wiped (luckily I'd backed everything up); when I told the guy who did it that I used to get occasional BSODs, he assured me that wiping the laptop would fix it.

Unfortunately, whilst I barely got any BSODs after the wipe, in the past week or so they've become far more common. Just the other day I got 3 in less than an hour (though lucklily it's not been that bad since). The BSOD comes and goes too quickly for me to properly take in what it says, but it usually says something about MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. As far as I can tell, it tends to happen randomly. Here are the problem details from the latest one I got about half an hour ago (not sure if this is the same as other problem details I've received):

Does anyone have any clue what that means? And any ideas on how to fix this, bearing in mind my lack of technology understanding?

PS. Chrome and Firefox have both been crashing a lot recently, and last night I had some trouble with Windows Explorer not working, but I'm not sure if these are related.

firstly check out this for instructions in helping us find the problem.
Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

secondly a blue screen that is software related will not get solved if you format the computer and then install the same drivers that came with the laptop (which is what I bet the person who helped you did.. not too helpful im affraid).

thirdly head over to acers website and locate the downloads page. there fill out the drop down boxes to match your laptop/os and then download and install all the latest drivers.

then see how it goes, if you dont get any bsod then hey its fixed. if you continue we need to go from there.
