BSOD when executing any programs - after Windows Update HP 8470p

    Hi everyone

Not sure if it's a coincidence or not but for the past 3 days i have been getting persistent BSOD's after Windows Updates ran. I did do a system restore to before the updates were installed but i am still getting BSOD

I have reseated the memory and HDD. Run diagnostic tests for hardware. Updated Display drivers etc to no avail

If it helps at all i even get BSOD sometimes when the laptop is starting up before the Windows welcome screen

This is my last resort, could someone please point me in the right direction

    Much appreciated

It looks like a failing HDD or your operating system has been damaged but I could be wrong.

First of all your display driver is out of date.
Update it by following these instructions.

How-To Install AMD Catalyst? Drivers For A Windows® Based System

    Code:
    fffff880`05c27000 fffff880`066e6000 atikmdag T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: atikmdag.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmdag.sys
        Image name: atikmdag.sys

Update your Intel WiFi network driver.
Can you upload the msinfo32 file.
go to start then type in msinfo32,
Save it to your desktop then upload it.

The reason why I've asked for the file is it should give me the exact model so you make sure you download the correct driver.

    Update your Intel Storage driver.
    It's out of date.
    Download it here.

        Loaded symbol image file: iaStor.sys

    Run these tests as well.

Run SeaTools to see if your HDD or SSD is failing

    Post back the results.

Run a Disk Check to scan for errors

       Note

Afterwards go into an Elevated Command Prompt (Run as administrator) and type in sfc /scannow
If it finds errors reboot and run the scan two more times

Run SeaTools to see if your HDD or SSD is failing

    Post back the results.

    Thanks for the help

    What i managed to do:

    1. Updated all necessary drivers using the Intel tool provided incl. WiFi, LAN, Display, Storage
    2. Ran Disk Check - no problems detected
    3. Sfc /scannow - gets to 59% and then displays error (see screenshot)
    4. Downloaded SeaTools, install interrupted each time by BSOD. Restarted in safe mode to install but now it gives me BSOD when trying to run the application

I have included the latest dumps also. Sometimes the laptop attempts to reboot 3 times or more before it successfully gets to the Windows welcome screen
