BSOD playing League of Legends; now getting complete shutdowns

My setup is fairly new (almost 6 months); I used to encounter a BSOD every few games in League of Legends about once a day.

I updated drivers but recently, instead of a BSOD, the computer would turn off (all fans stop spinning, no LEDs lit except for the LED by the GPU power plug) and restart itself but I would not get a BSOD report on startup. Today, the computer shut itself down but did not restart itself; I had to press the power button this time.

I need to also note that maybe two of the shutdowns occurred while scrolling in Firefox or Adobe pdf reader.

Thank you for reading this and thank you very much if you want to help me!
