    BSOD while PC is idel

    Hello All
For round about a month now I have been experiencing a BSOD whilst my PC is not in use, or rather while I am AFK.
Some times this can happen within half an hour, or times 3 or more hours while AFK. Sometimes not at all.

    Many thanks in advance

You have 0x44 bugchecks which indicate a driver(s) have requested that an IRP be completed but the packet has already been completed.
This can be caused by multiple drivers which can make it difficult.

Your AMD storage filter driver is being flagged.

    Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\amd_xata.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for amd_xata.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for amd_xata.sys
Looking at the timestamp I can see that it's outdated.

    Code:
    7: kd> lmvm amd_xata
    start end module name
    fffff880`01164000 fffff880`01172000 amd_xata T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: amd_xata.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\amd_xata.sys
        Image name: amd_xata.sys
        Timestamp: Fri Mar 04 20:45:44 2011 (4D714F78)
        CheckSum: 0000A3AB

        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
Your AMD SATA Controller driver is being flagged as well.

    Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\amd_sata.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for amd_sata.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for amd_sata.sys
     amd_sata+0x7ce1
    Code:
    7: kd> lmvm amd_sata
    start end module name
    fffff880`010e9000 fffff880`01100000 amd_sata T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: amd_sata.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\amd_sata.sys
        Image name: amd_sata.sys
        Timestamp: Fri Mar 04 20:45:41 2011 (4D714F75)
        CheckSum: 000202DD

It looks like those 2 drivers are conflicting.
An update might help, I would try that first.

Thanks The Doctor. Finding the correct drivers is not easy. I downloaded the latest chipset drivers for my motherboard and installed them. Checked the driver dates and they are now showing as 29/02/12 as apposed to
    Fri Mar 04 20:45:41 2011

So I will see how that runs.
