Can you or anyone else out there take a look at this for me? I am not sure what the culprit is yet![]()

I'll take a look when I get home tonight hopefully. I'm going to be busy for the next couple of days but will get round to it.
Thank you again... you are the best!!! I have a suspicion that somehow even updated... it is still USB 3.0 drivers or BIOS related since I did flash the BIOS to 2.06 from EVGA's website... but I cant be certain. I tried the 3.0 drivers from EVGA's site again but they are the outdated 2011 ones and they seem to cause 2 of the usb root hub drivers to get the yellow exclamation point.

Uninstall it and run DV again.Code:******************************************************************************* * * * Bugcheck Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information. WOO HOO!!!! No more BSOD on DV ! You are my hero!!!!Seriously thank you a million!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it is shutting down proper now! Guess ill just have to use Windows Firewall instead. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're most welcome mate. Windows Firewall is more than adequate when used in conjunction with a good AV.
If you're happy enough as it stands feel free to mark the thread as Solved. If problems reoccur you can always mark the thread as Unsolved and we can continue where we left off. Hopefully that won't be the case.
EDIT: Don't forget to disable Driver Verifier.
BAD NEWS..... I knew it was too early to throw a party... it wont shutdown again and the BSOD is back like a bad case of athletes foot!!!![]()
Attaching the log .... There must be something Im overlooking here.
And yes I did disable verifer.

It's your ASMedia USB 3.0 driver again.
It needs updating:Code:******************************************************************************* * * * Bugcheck Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information. BugCheck 9F, {3, fffffa800f1bccd0, fffff80000b9c3d8, fffffa80109ae6b0} *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for asmthub3.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for asmthub3.sys Probably caused by : asmthub3.sys Followup: MachineOwner
Right, try this method. Download the EVGA X79 Classified ASMedia USB 3.0 Driver 11.6.4 from the link below and save to your desktop or other convenient location.Code:0: kd> lmvm asmthub3 start end module name fffff880`0918d000 fffff880`091b2000 asmthub3 T (no symbols) Loaded symbol image file: asmthub3.sys Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\asmthub3.sys Image name: asmthub3.sys Timestamp: Thu Nov 08 17:36:35 2012 (509BEDA3) CheckSum: 00027E09 ImageSize: 00025000 Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
NoteI have seen 1.6.3.0 drivers on certain download sites, but I can't find that one available through either the EVGA or ASMedia sites. The one linked is still more current than yours so hopefully will resolve the issue.
Download
Set Windows Updates to only notify you of updates. This will prevent Windows detecting and installing any drivers for that device.
Attachment 322560
Through Device Manager, uninstall the ASMedia eXtensible Host Controller. This should remove any currently installed drivers. Reboot the system, let Windows detect the USB 3.0 controller and then install the drivers you downloaded and saved.
When I do the method you suggested and load those drivers everything looks good in the device manager... however windows hangs on shutdown...bsod...etc.... If I install the 1.6.3 drivers.... two of the hubs give excaimaition points.
Ill keep trying things to make the 1.6.3 driver work.
