    BSOD Doing Random Things, BAD_POOL_HEADER

Getting a seemingly random BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD. Cannot figure out what I'm doing at the time when I get them every few days, seems to be pretty random. I always seem to be surfing the Internet? This started a few months ago after I had installed a PCIe USB 3.0 card and a PCIe SATA III card onto my old motherboard. Since then, I have changed motherboards and am not using those cards anymore but continue to get the random BSOD. I have also changed display adapters since then (went from an ATI card to an NVIDIA card) but I made sure all ATI and NVIDIA drivers have been removed and did a clean install of the NVIDIA drivers recently and am still getting the BSOD.

Anyways, attached is the DM Log. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

I ran a chkdsk and it did find some errors and fixed them. I also ran sfc /scannow and it found some errors. I am running it again as we speak. Will update later. EDIT BELOW.

Also, I ran Driver Verifier the other day to see if that could help me out any. I kept blue screening before I got into Windows, but was able to get into Windows in Safe Mode (and disable verifier so I could get back into Windows normally). I haven't tried it again.

EDIT: SFC finished again. Says it found corrupt files but was unable to fix them. I am going to try to boot into a Windows Recovery environment and run it again to see if it can fix the problems without Windows being loaded.

    Welcome,

    Reduce items at start-up:

    Perform a clean boot:

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable!:-

That is a boatload of drivers to try and update, especially when most of that hardware isn't even on my system (which makes driver updates really difficult). Anyways, I used a driver removal tool to get rid of all display drivers on my computer. Reinstalled the correct ones (for about the 4th time). I ran Driver Verifier, got into Windows this time, but then got a blue screen. The DLL was related to a video player I had installed on my computer. I uninstalled that, cleaned up the Startup entries in msconfig and haven't had a blue screen in quite awhile.

Anyways, thanks for your suggestions. Just wanted to let everybody know the problem has been resolved so this thread can be closed.
