    BSOD during games: ntoskrnl.exe

For the past couple of weeks, I've been experiencing intermittent BSODs. Most of them happen during gaming (Giana Sisters, Diablo 3, Final Fantasy XIV, Left 4 Dead 2). I've tried making sure that my drivers are as updated as possible, but no luck. I've done extended tests with Memtest but it hasn't come up with any errors so far.

I've had about 4 occasions of BSODs in almost a month, most of them with different bug check codes. Though BlueScreenView does show "ntoskrnl.exe" as an issue in all four instances. I've attached the results from the SF tool, and if there's any other info that's needed, I'll be happy to give it out.

Thank you all for your time.

    Hello there mate!

Seems like the crashes is random. "ntoskrnl.exe" is just Windows Kernel which may not be an issue. So we need to dig a little deeper.

So first of all I would recommended to uninstall Asus (PC Probe II) because I seen it causes BSOD very often.

Disconnect any USB based devices, also check for chip set driver updates.

In case if you get BSOD we might need to enable Driver Verifier.

As far as I can tell, I've already removed the Asus PC Probe program from my computer. I've enabled driver verifier now, also. As far as driver updates go, aside from what I can find on the motherboard manufacturer site, I haven't had much luck in finding updated drivers for the chipset.

Can't find much of an update for the Intel Watchdog Timer driver, either.
