    Your board appears to be the P7 H55E. At least that's what yout Bios idebtifies it as. The size of the power supply has nothing to do with the size of the motherboard.

    ok cheers - which means that the bios I have looks right..... thought I was onto something there for a moment!

    Can you tell anything off from the bios screen shots. I wonder if any of the other m/b drivers are an issue?

    Ah sorry my bad! I think it's called a micro atx board over here, but quite possibly completely wrong on that!

    OK, can you show me the screenshot from cpuz mainboard tab from XP? If it's Micro ATX it should be what is on the board P7 H55-M

    It says p7H55E too. Asus naming scheme usually adds an M on to it if it is an Matx. But, perhaps they are the same as far as drivers and bios.

    It was the board stickers that confuse me! But both the bios and CPUz say its a p7h55-e...
