    Sorry im not that far ahead im busy stripping the m/b etc out of the case and having one last boot with the case fan removed - only bit of hardware ive not bothered with!

    OK, just keep us posted . We need to know exactly what is happening and what you have done. When you do it is up to you. But, it is difficult from this side of the keyboard. We can't see it or hear it. We have to depend on you to be our eyes and ears. So, we need to know exactly what you have done. I hope you understand. It does not matter if you wait a few days to do it, just let us know.

    I've stripped everything out, linked the hard drive to port 0, DVD in port 1, nothing else attached. Got about as far as it did the last time it tried to install.....
