BSOD after inserting new USB flash drive

I bought 2 brand new Kingston DataTraveler 8GB USB 3.0 flash drives. The same thing happens with both of them:

I insert the drive into ANY of my 4 usb ports, the computer plays the sound indicating it recognizes a new piece of hardware, the driver install popup appears in the system tray, and then the computer goes to BSOD.

When I reboot the computer (with the drive still inserted), it appears in Device Manager as Kingston 8GB etc., but does not ever appear in Disk Management (i.e. I can't see it to initialize or format it) and it does not ever appear in My Computer.

Pleas help!

Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium 64 Bit on an HP 4530s.

Just to add, I plugged in a new blu-ray player/writer today, no BSOD.

Thanks for suggesting minitool partition wizard. Unfortunately, my usb flash drive doesn't show up in the minitool partition wizard. The flash drive does show up in device manager after the computer restarts following the BSOD. It shows up in device manager but not in disk management or minitool partition wizard. When I try to update the driver in device manager, it says the driver is up to date. When I uninstall the device in device manager, unplug and replug it in, the BSOD returns, every time.

I ran AVG virus scan, BSOD still occurs.

Are the same two drivers being flagged in another recent thread with issues inserting flash drives.

Those are McAfee drivers above but they are related to Endpoint Encryption software which happens to be what HP is using in that program listed above. Part of the HP Tools.

I think it's worth trying an uninstall of that software or at the very least removing it from your startup programs,

There are quite a few startup programs starting with windows, you would really benefit from thinning that down to as few as possible.
