Unknown BSOD causes laptop to freeze, sometimes horizontal BSOD

    Hi, it has been a while since I've last posted, but for an update. I have corresponded with Cyberpower people, and they were no help to me. I still have BSODs and I really don't know what to do. The biggest problem I have is identifying the BSOD. Whenever I have them, I have screen tears as shown in the previous posts, and it restarts. I try to get a kernel dump file, but there isn't any recent dumps. I tried using programs like Slim driver to update corrupted drivers, but still no luck with that. I tried using CCleaner to clean up unused files, still no luck.
    I seriously don't know what to do. Let me know what kind of files you need, and I'll do my best to get them to you all.

Hello, at random situations (especially when playing games or watching videos) my PC completely freezes and the screen shows horizontal stripes only. The mouse is still visible but I can't move it. I also have winXP installed on the same system (so I can switch between XP and 7) and the freeze...
This normally happens when I first start using the computer for the day. Sometimes when it happens there is a sound to it when it freezes but not always. Once the computer is going good for around 15-20mins then it no longer happens until the next reboot.
