    BSOD Issue 2057 - Intensive Browsing


    When I start web browsing on my computer with a considerable number of tabs open, my computer has a BSOD with a locale ID of '2057'. The information from this is:

    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

    The error appears to be related to the Radeon HD 6800 display driver, despite it being up to date.

    I recommend:
    1. Uninstall this driver and all its components completely using the instructions in both links below:

    and also...

    Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling

    2. Reboot the computer and run Windows Update immediately.
    3. Check the Optional Updates, and select to download and install the Radeon driver offered.

    Use that driver (do not update it any further) and see if your system stays stable.
