    BSOD random times ngfilter.sys

I leave this Win 7 ent x64 company laptop on all the time (docked). Half of the mornings it has rebooted with this BSOD. I have updated all the drivers I could find. Any help appreciated.

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff880046f3800, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: fffff88003df4098, Exception Record Address
    Arg4: fffff88003df38f0, Context Record Address

This is a KMS license owned by DELL itself as far as I can tell - you are very likely to be severely restricted in what you are able to do in terms of troubleshooting, as the Group Policy settings are probably such as to lock you out of much of the system.

I think you'd be well advised to ask your System Admin for assistance - their reaction is very likely to be a reformat and reinstall.

I really do not want to use my company help desk to support this because, you are right, they will have me re-image the laptop. This is at least a day long process, sometimes longer.

I have local admin rights and I have found very little I that has locked me out via group policy that I have not been able to work around. If I could find out what is causing these BSOD and then discover that I am unable to fixed it due to domain restrictions, I would then call my help desk.

If you could give some direction as to the root of the issue that would be very helpful.
