BSOD after installing new hard drive and fresh copy of Windows 7

I have a HP Envy 14 running Windows Home Premium. Over the past few months I was receiving a BSOD 1-2 times a day on average. A few days ago my hard disk burnt out and yesterday I installed a new hard drive with a fresh copy of Windows 7 on it. Today I again received a BSOD with this error report:
    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: fe
    BCP1: 0000000000000008
    BCP2: 0000000000000006
    BCP3: 0000000000000005
    BCP4: FFFFFA80066887A0
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 256_1

Can it be that this BSOD issue is hardware related?

    Thanks

Possibly. It might be referring to a boot sector problem with the HDD. If you can boot into Windows, do the following:

    1. Download the DM Log Collector application to your desktop by clicking the link below

    DM Log Collector.exe

    2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
    3. Locate the .ZIP file that is created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

If not, try reinstalling Windows after formatting the HDD during setup.
